Thanks to everyone that purchased an All Access ticket to Virginia Ukapalooza 2026 this morning. We are now officially sold out of those tickets. We'll see all 300 of you in November at the festival.

We will be releasing Saturday/Sunday Only tickets soon and will put out a post of when we'll be releasing them, prior to doing so.

Scammer alert: we already had to delete numerous comments to this post of scammers attempting to resell tickets to our event which they never actually purchased. Buyers beware!

To maximum your chance of purchasing a ticket and signing up for activities/workshops before several fill up we have the following tips which you can take some time to prepare for NOW:

When purchasing a ticket on Eventbrite and filling out the activity/workshop Google form (that is included in the Eventbrite confirmation email after purchasing a ticket) -- make sure you use the name and email address of the person that actually plans to attend.

The maximum number of tickets that can be purchased in a single order is 2. For each ticket, the name and email address of each person that plans to attend must be used (don't use the same name or email address for both tickets).

Please be very careful to enter in your email address in Eventbrite carefully. A few people last year mis-typed their email, which then prevented them from receiving their Eventbrite ticket confirmation. You should receive your Eventbrite confirmation email immediately after purchasing a ticket. If you don't receive it, please check your SPAM folder.

At the bottom of your Eventbrite email confirmation, you find a "Workshop registration form link" which is a link to a Google Form to sign up for the various activities/workshops offered. You should access this form to sign up for activities/workshops as soon as you can as several have limited seating and will fill up. When filling out the activity/workshop form, you must log into the form with a unique email address for each person.

Therefore it is critical that you can log into your own email address (not just rely on a previously saved email password).

The above issues tripped up several attendees last year, and especially with the blitz to purchase tickets on Monday, you are highly encouraged to ensure you can log into your email (and the other person's email if purchasing a 2nd ticket) ahead of Monday's ticket release.

In terms of the add-on items offered (mentoring sessions, tshirts, hats, and printed jam packets) -- the mentoring sessions are expected to sell out extremely quickly. An attendee may only sign up for up to one mentoring session. We will automatically cancel any additional mentoring sessions an attendee purchases.

We highly encourage you to visit our Eventbrite page prior to Monday to familiarize yourself with where tickets and the various add-on items are located on the site.

On Monday, we highly encourage you to add tickets (and a mentoring session if you are interested in one) to your cart and place your order on Eventbrite immediately as close to 8am as possible to secure those limited items. If you are interested in any of the other add-on items (tshirts, hats, and printed jam packets) you can go right back to Eventbrite and add them to your cart and check out a second time.

We are trying out a new activity at Virginia Ukapalooza 2026 -- a panel discussion about leading a uke jam.

Ernest Ackermann (uke group leader of Fredericksburg Ukulele eNsemble ~aka~ F.U.N.) will moderate a panel of ukulele group leaders from other Virginia ukulele groups that will explain how they started their uke groups, manage their groups, lead jams, and lessons learned in the process. Questions will be taken from the audience. This will be a great discussion for anyone that runs a ukulele jam or would like to!
