Fairies, hobbits, pixies, gnomes, and friends are playful and intrepid in wet weather. The festival is held rain or shine, so plan to dance and twirl among the rain drops. We’re hoping the gremlins keep the rain to after hours, but just in case, we do have a pavilion and other indoor spaces to take cover. See you this weekend 9/6 and 9/7, 10 am - 4 pm in the gardens of The Rosemary House. We’re excited!! 🧚 🦄🐛🌿🧚‍♀️🧜‍♀️🦋🐾🍄🌷🌻🌞💫🧚🏽‍♂️

Ok, who is excited about The Rosemary House Fairy Festival this weekend? My magic-and-fairy-loving heart just can’t take it! 🌸👑

If you know our story, you know I live in a house full of boys. Legos, bathroom seat “situations,” and way too many gross things. I had almost given up on my dream of girly adventures… until River came along. My fairy babe. Half sparkle, half dragon. A Tonka-truck-driving princess who will crush you in a tutu and look fabulous doing it.

So when I saw there was an actual Fairy Festival, I knew we had to go. River made a wishing jar potion (yes, this toddler has her own crystal collection), donned her sparkliest wings and flower crown, and marched in like she owned the place.

Highlights?
✨ Swapping her potion for a magical necklace at the fairy market.
✨ Getting fairy hair, face paint, and glitter tattoos until she practically glowed.
✨ Pinkies up at a fairy tea party while I melted into a puddle.
✨ Whispering secrets with a mermaid.
✨ Holding an actual crow like it was NBD.
✨ Twirling with belly dancers while glitter flew everywhere.

By the end of the day, she was sparkly, muddy, twirling, and fearless—exactly who she is. And I left with my heart full, my car full of glitter, and the realization that sometimes magic is exactly what we need.

This weekend, the Fairy Festival is BACK, and we can’t wait. Who’s joining us? 🧚‍♀️💖
