Central PA SuperChef is the region’s premier culinary competition, showcasing the top fine-dining and casual fine-dining chefs and restaurants from across Central Pennsylvania. In a high-energy battle for culinary bragging rights, participating chefs go head-to-head, crafting signature dishes live for celebrity judges and food-loving guests. More than just a food event, SuperChef is a full experience: from bold flavors and creative plating to mingling with fellow foodies, enjoying live entertainment, and bidding in a silent auction that benefits a local nonprofit organization. Since its debut in 2010, Central PA SuperChef has seen consistent growth year after year and continues to be one of the most anticipated culinary events in the area.

Fifteen years ago today, Central PA SuperChef began with a little dream.

As a true foodie, I’ve always believed food is so much more than just something you eat. Food is love. It creates connection, sparks emotion, and brings people together in a way few things can. There’s something so special about tasting an incredible dish, preparing food for others, and seeing the joy on someone’s face from that experience.

That’s exactly what inspired SuperChef. I wanted to create an event that brought people together to experience the very best of Central Pennsylvania’s culinary talent, while also raising money for incredible causes in our community.

And here we are, 15 years later.

What started as a small dream rooted in love and connection has grown into something truly amazing. Over the years, Central PA SuperChef has raised more than $200,000 for local nonprofits, showcased talented chefs and restaurants, and even helped put them on billboards across Central PA.

I still can’t believe how far this event has come, and I’m so grateful for every chef, restaurant, sponsor, attendee, and supporter who has been part of this journey.

Now, we look ahead to celebrating our 15th year on September 14 at the Penn Harris Hotel in Camp Hill.
