Northwest Pennsylvania Volleyball League

NWPAVL is a seasonal outdoor sand volleyball facility that is family owned and operated. Please watch the fb page for updated events, changes and cancellations. In NWPA the weather can be unpredictable. Pick-up nights are when players of all skill level come with friends or independently to play, typically with different partners. Find a parnter, call "next" on a particular court and add your name

to the white board. When the team on that court loses you will play until you lose and then the next team can jump in. You can play, doubles or fours, change your partner and change what court you're on. Pick up $5 each night you come to play and it typically runs from 5-8 (usually later once school is out). Sometimes pick up in cancelled tdue to weather and sometimes extra nights will be added if there is interest. Memberships eliminate the need to bring $5 each night for pick up. Student memberships are $50 and adult memberships are $100. Those who have memberships also recieve a $5 discount on clinics. Clinics are skill building sessions that typically last for two hours. The are run by local coaches. Clinics help each student improve in all skill areas, passing, serving, hiting and setting. Times and dates for clinics vary and will be posted on the page. Tournaments! The tournament schedule is posted along with an event page for each one. Each tournament cost $25 per person unless noted otherwise. To sign up for a tournament message the fb page the team members, which tournament and what division you would like to play in. AA- expert, A - advanced, B- beginnger and youth (12-14 & 15-18). Youth can plan in the B division if they choose. Tournaments begin at 10am. Plan on spendng the whole day. Sometimes there is food offered or provided and there are a number of local resturants and stores. We have bathrooms and an outside showers as well as a shower in the womens restroom. There is also a lounge area with a shared fridge. If you need a water take a water but please bring a case with you to share next time. Adults may bring coolers and byob. There is zero tolerance for underage drinking. Anyone underage caught with alcohol will be banned for the rest of the season and forefits membership.
