🇺🇸 The day started in our traditional fashion with opening ceremony on the square at the Rothrock Monument. The flag was raised, both young and old recited the Pledge of Allegiance, the National Anthem was sung beautifully and a thoughtful prayer was shared. This was followed by a warm welcome to kick off the 39th Annual Country Memories Day and our America 250 Celebration.

The vendors welcomed the hustle and bustle in the streets and shared their crafts, handmade items, small businesses and smiles with the crowd.

The volunteers assisted vendors with unloading, shuttled vendors and visitors to and from, made announcements, checked on vendors and provided attention to details, handled things behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly, answered questions, went above and beyond, managed so many moving parts at once, and stuck around for cleanup duty.

We stepped back in time in as we watched the Revolutionary War re-enactors General George Washington, Martha Washington, Betsy Ross and additional soldiers march through town and then later proceed to the Liberty Tree to fire the muskets.
