A chapter is closing … we have made the hard decision to close our venue, The Bindery Event Space. As we host our last few events, in our eighth season, we are a bit misty eyed thinking of all of the memories we have shared with our clients and community in this space. Those memories will stay in our hearts as we enter a new phase of our lives.
We started The Bindery with a few simple goals, and as we start to say goodbye we feel that we achieved those goals and can move forward with our heads held high. This business grew from the love of that feeling when people gather together and was solidified with the help of family, an amazing local bank and contractor, our dear friends at the Atticus Hotel, vendors who became like family, and a small but mighty team who kept the lights on and the music going for eight years.
From launching with companies like Subaru and Nike in 2018, to a whirlwind development of our historic property, to closing our doors and then hosting events through COVID, to weddings, anniversaries, proms, fundraisers, corporate meetings, celebrations of life and holiday markets … we have been in this building doing life with you. And that has meant the world.
These walls are filled with all of the love shared in this space and we hope that the events you attended here were meaningful and memorable and that we did our best as your hosts.
As we turn a page, know that we have loved being a part of your lives. Thank you for everything.
