70 degrees in March!? Has me dreaming of McHenry Fiesta Days!

Save the dates for July 9th-19th for all of this years fun! Bands are secured, food vendors have been selected, Arts and Crafts in the Park crafters are being chosen, Car show applications are live and events are starting to be created.

We are saddened to share the passing of Robert G. “Bob” Mrachek.

Bob was a lifelong McHenry resident whose dedication to faith, family, and service shaped so much of the community we know today.

Bob’s love for McHenry was evident in his many years of service - from the Fiesta Days Committee, where he helped organize one of our community’s most beloved traditions and was honored as Parade Marshal in 2005, to his involvement with the McHenry Area Chamber Board of Directors and numerous civic efforts. Colonial Funeral Home, a founding member of the Chamber, continues to be a pillar in our business community - a legacy of service that lives on through his family.

Visitation will be held at Colonial Funeral Home, 591 Ridgeview Dr., McHenry, on Sunday, March 1 from 3:00–7:00 pm and again Monday, March 2 from 9:00–9:45 am. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church.

We extend our deepest condolences to the Mrachek family and friends. Bob’s legacy of compassion, leadership, and community service will be remembered with gratitude for years to come.

- This is now a juried show
- A limited number of vendors per category will be accepted
- Applications must be submitted by March 1st to be considered.
Applications received after March 1st may still be reviewed if space remains, but most categories are expected to fill by the deadline.
