Payette Lakes Fine Arts & Crafts Faire

Payette Lakes Fine Arts & Crafts Faire The 36th Annual Payette Lakes Fine Art & Craft Fair will return August 15th and 16th, 2026! Saturday 9-5, Sunday 10-4.

The Payette Lakes Fine Arts & Crafts Fair is always on the third weekend in August; August 17th & 18th, 2024. The festival will take place on the grassy field at Fairway Park in McCall, between Aspen Market and the golf course; close to Davis Beach. The fair hosts over 65 artists from the west, representing the full spectrum of art and craft media –log and willow furniture, hand woven hammocks, oi

l painting, stained glass, jewelry, ceramic, wood, fiber, metals, two-dimensional art and more. The arts and craft fair is a great opportunity to encounter new artists and to talk with crafters one-on-one. Visitors are sure to find new treasures along with a few old favorites. Do not miss this wonderful opportunity to stroll through the fair, discovering unique gifts for your friends, family and yourself! Enjoy live music as well as a variety of food booths for your eating pleasures, on both days of the festival. Our Artists and Craftsmen personally produce every piece for sale. Our mission is to promote a premier juried event. The Fair encourages and supports youth as well, ensuring future generations will have a venue to display and sell their work directly to the public in a gallery setting. Free to the public since 1990, parking available on site. If you are a local artist interested in participating in the show, please call Sherry Kistner at (208) 922-4384 to learn more about eligibility criteria and the application process.

⭐ Featured Artist Spotlight ⭐
Daughters of the Potter
Nampa,Idaho

We are a mother/daughter duo that started with a simple pottery class together years ago and surprisingly discovered hidden talents and shared passion. This has led to building a business together, endless hours developing our skill and techniques, and inspiring each other to pour ourselves into every creation and let true imagination emerge. This partnership has brought out creativity in the most beautiful way. The root of Daughters of the Potter has always remained centered on our love for each other and our love for creating functional art that reflects our hearts.

Our journey has taken us from the classroom, to our own professional studios. We’ve had the honor of teaching at the Idaho Fine Arts Academy, receiving two awards at juried art shows and being showcased in two galleries. We are having the time of our life creating together, running a business together and just simply adventuring together.

Local Artist Spotlight
Iron Press Book Company
Boise, Idaho

I fell in love with bookmaking and paper craft in my late twenties, enjoying the precise creativity behind the complex structure of paper arts. I create sketchbooks, journals, and other papercraft pieces in which I utilize decorative papers from throughout the world, including Thailand, Japan, India, France, and the United States. Each hardback book has acid free, archival interior pages that are hand bound and stitched together with Italian linen book thread and covered with book cloth along the spine. Each book is one of a kind, meaning that the decorative papers used to cover the outside bookboard cover, which is the final stage of the bookmaking process, will be matched to create a unique final piece. I also construct accordion style books, in varying sizes, which fold together to discreetly transform into a smaller book piece with hidden pages.

If you’re into skillfully handmade sketchbooks and journals with hardback covers, complete with either lined or unlined interior pages, circle August 15th and 16th in your calendar and come check out the Payette Lakes Fine Art & Craft Fair in McCall. Meet the artists and buy straight from the source.

"Hi, I’m Shelby, a jewelry artist and silversmith based, born, and raised in Caldwell Idaho. I balance life with my two young kids, my love of the mountains, gardening, and traveling, all while staying connected to the local art community.

Fire and Fringe began as a creative escape in 2020 and has grown into a full-time passion for designing handmade sterling silver jewelry. I work mostly with Turquoise but love working with a variety of stones including moonstone, agates, and jasper. I am mostly drawn to the blues, greens and neutral tones in the stones!

Each piece i make is carefully crafted, from the simple everyday rings to the large statement pieces, I love making all of it! I also offer custom jewelry, helping customers choose the perfect stone, style, and fit is one of my favorite parts. I especially enjoy adding special touches like wedding dates, last names or sayings to pieces. I feel like it just makes it extra special when your heirloom jewelry is passed down with the story!

Beyond making jewelry, I also teach silversmithing classes at my storefront in Caldwell, Idaho. All of my classes are beginner friendly and one on one (or a small group of your friends). I love sharing my techniques and passion with others who want to explore this art.

Whether you’re searching for a unique gift, a one-of-a-kind statement piece, or want to learn how to create your own silver jewelry, I aim to provide inspiration, high-quality craftsmanship, and guidance. I hope to hear from you soon! "

Payette Lakes Engraving

Inspired by the rustic charm of McCall, Idaho, where I graduated high school, and the vibrant spirit of Oregon, where I now reside, my work reflects the beauty of both states. Each custom engraving captures the essence of Idaho's rugged mountains and serene lakes, paired with Oregon's lush forests and dramatic coastline. As an outdoor enthusiast and animal lover, I draw inspiration from nature and the community heroes who serve us. My passion is crafting unique, hand-engraved items that transform home decor, weddings, gifts, and special events.

Meet the artist, something new and maybe even collaborate on an awesome new project! Mark your calendars for August 15th and 16th in McCall, Idaho!

Sage Brush Metal Art
Meridian, Idaho

When I retired from 40 years in Finance where creativity was frowned upon, I wanted to try something that was completely different. Now I make creations from recycled steel and copper into pieces that I hope will bring enjoyment and beauty to my customers.

⭐ Regional Artist Spotlight ⭐
Bitterroot Nets
Greenacres, WA

I can vividly recall how moved I was when I first saw highly figured and burled woods. Mostly self taught, I have worked with wood most of my life. A class on bentwood lamination in 2007 helped me merge my love of woodworking with my other love, Fly fishing. While honing my skill as a custom net and fly box builder, Bitterroot Nets was born. Over the years my work has been featured on the TV show "Handcrafted America" as well as Magazines "Northwest Fly Fishing" and Woodworkers Journal.

Make every catch more memorable with a gorgeous new net. You’ve got to see them to really appreciate the beauty and the craftsmanship. Join us in just a few days at the 35th Annual Payette Lakes Fine Art & Craft Fair in McCall, Idaho.

Artist Spotlight
Nature's Hair Claws

I'm an off-grid, nature loving, farm chick living in the Idaho Panhandle mountains. When not milking the goats or weeding the garden, I am drawn to nature-creations.

Hairclaws (or hairforks if you prefer) have been a huge part of my life since my Mom started making them when I was a child. She taught me everything i know about making a perfect, curved, strong hairclaw - this knowledge is empowering!

I use local/exotic hardwoods and recovered antlers/horns. My homestead is 100% solar energy powered!

See for yourself and add to your collection at the 35th Annual Payette Lakes Fine Art & Craft Fair in Beautiful McCall, Idaho. Mark your calendar for August 16th and 17th.
