Regarding Prom 2020 and any concerns.
The following is in response to a question asked about social distancing and here is a response for the public, from our event organizers:

We certainly took that part very seriously and waited until we were in Stage 4 of the Governor's shelter in place procedures, which allows for this type of gathering.
We consulted with the top docs at St. Luke’s McCall to make sure the protocols we were putting in place were appropriate.
We had two trained medical professionals in charge of the sanitation and health check in procedures.
The kids were asked health screening questions and had their temperature taken at the door before they were allowed to check in.
We held the event outside and had tables distanced with limited numbers per table.
All food was served to them or in individual serving containers to minimize food handling transmission.
We had a hand wash station on site and hand sanitizer in many locations.
The portable bathrooms were sanitized regularly during the event.
Short of not having prom, we did everything that was recommended to us by health care providers to keep kids safe.
The truth of the matter is that the kids are seeing each other out in the community already, so we layered on what we could to be as protective as possible.
I hope that answers any concerns! It was definitely a major part of our planning process.

Dozens and dozens more photos to be shared this week from this fabulous outdoor event. This ranch-style Prom was an amazing venue and the kids all decked out in their boots, bling and bowties made the night, unforgettable. Look for many more photos to come...
