SERIES UPDATE:
After much discussion, it’s been decided that our show series will not be scheduling shows this year.😕
We appreciate how much support you all have given us, and know you all looked forward to spending fun days in McArthur.
First- thanks to you all for joining us, all the sponsors who’ve stepped up over the years, and ALL the people who answered our requests for help- show secretaries, announcers, judges and scribes, gate help and ribbon/awards presenters- we couldn’t have done it without you!
Producing quality show takes an immense amount of time and energy, and we decided we need a break after 6 years of working so hard on getting the shows together- from gathering sponsors, planning/ordering awards, finding judges, covincing our family and friends to volunteer, prepping the arena and stalls (yes- my son and I have cleaned and prepared the stalls and pens for every show we’ve had), to creating, publishing, and accepting entries, choosing patterns, clarifying rules and modifications to fit our exhibitors- and then putting it all together on show day.
THE GOOD NEWS: WE DO HAVE PLANS FOR OTHER ACTIVITIES!
We’d love to have you join us for clinics, playdays, obstacle days, “practice” shows.
Recently, because of the funds provided from prior years shows, we were able to purchase a COWTRAC mechanical cow flag system! Plans are to have Cowtrac days to allow you all to come in and try it out, work your horses and have fun with something new!
Stay tuned for announcements about those days!
Thanks so much for joining us the last 6 years, it may not be a permanent change, but we’re looking forward to a break for now!
In the meantime I’ll be sharing other shows you may be interested in, and hope you choose to continue showing, learning, progressing your horses, having fun and supporting other small shows (and big ones too)!
