AFTER CAREFUL CONSIDERATION, I HAVE DECIDED TO ALLOW SADDLES WITHOUT HORNS IN THIS SHOW! BECAUSE I DID NOT HAVE IT IN THE RULES FOR THE FIRST SHOW I FEEL NOW IT WOULD BE UNFAIR! BUT WE WILL HAVE THAT IN THE RULES FOR NEXT YEAR!

09/15/2026

Just a few reminders this is a Ranch schooling show so all riders-must have a horn on their saddles. No English saddles at the show!

Also, the judge will do a walk-through for the skills class right before the class so to save time let’s save our questions for then!

The command class which is a new class this show may have some of these commands!
Back up
Side pass
Counting steps
Extended gates
Counter lope
Ride without stirrups
Pivot on front or back end
Also transitions like
Lope to walk
Lope from a standstill
Trot from a standstill
Back up to lope or trot

Looking forward to a fun day!!!

For those of you with lead liners, our goal is to run Ranch rail and Ranch- on command-then have lead line go after that! But if the classes take too long, I will break at some point and have the lead liners go by 11:30! That’s the plan!

Here’s the list of classes! We hope to have the lead line kids go in between the rider skills class and the timed event, but in any case, they will not start before 11:30! We have Maci Cash singing the national anthem before the lead line classes start ! I will have the arena open on Friday for people entering in the show at no charge, I will post this time soon! If you want to come in Friday and stay overnight, I am happy to say we have no charge for the stalls or pens, as long as you leave them spotless as the stalls are brand new! We do have a $20 dry camp fee. I will keep posting updates pretty much every day. If you have any questions, please let me know. And if you decide to come in on Friday, please let me know!
