📢 Help Shape the Future of Mayville! 📢
The Village of Mayville is updating its municipal code and zoning regulations, and we want to hear from you! This is your opportunity to learn about the process, share your ideas, and help guide future growth and development in our community. The current code and zoning regulations were last comprehensively updated in 2007, and this project will help implement priorities identified in the Joint Comprehensive Plan.

📍 Carlson Community Center, Mayville Lakeside Park
At this public workshop, residents, property owners, business owners, and anyone interested in Mayville's future can:
✅ Learn how the current code and zoning regulations work
✅ Share ideas about what should be updated or improved
✅ Discuss the future of Mayville with Village officials and the project team
✅ Help shape the direction of proposed zoning updates before any new regulations are drafted
The workshop will be facilitated by Community & Municipal Development Group (CMD Group), the consulting firm assisting the Village with this important project. No registration is required, and everyone is welcome.
Together, let's plan for Mayville's future. We hope to see you there!

🚧 NOTICE OF ROAD & PARKING LOT CLOSURES🚧

Please be advised of the following temporary closures due to scheduled work:

💧 Patterson Street will be closed for water workon Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 7:00 AM until 3:00 PM. Motorists will need to use an alternate route and avoid Patterson Street during this time.

🅿️ The Lakeside Park Parking Lot will be closed Wednesday, October 7 through Friday, October 9, 2026, daily from 7:00 AM until 3:00 PM for parking lot paving.

✅ The Boat Launch area and Boat Launch parking lot will remain open and accessible throughout the paving project.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as these necessary improvements are completed. Please plan accordingly, follow all posted signage, and use caution around work zones.

The Village of Mayville is seeking your ideas and feedback as we prepare our $4.5 Million New York Forward Grant Application. Join us at our upcoming community meeting and help shape the future of our downtown and waterfront areas.

📢 GNOME CONTEST DEADLINE EXTENDED! 🎨🧙‍♂️

Good news, gnome lovers! The Village of Mayville is extending the deadline for our Gnome Painting Contest to October 16th to give everyone a little extra time to finish and submit their painted gnomes.

Haven’t picked up a gnome yet? There’s still plenty of time to join the fun! Gnomes can be purchased for$20 at Stewart’s, Mayville Hardware, or Handcrafted From the Heart. Grab one, get creative, and show off your artistic talents!

We can’t wait to see all of the unique and colorful creations from our community. Thank you to everyone who has already participated and to those who are still working on their masterpieces!
