Voting has begun for the annual Best of the Best contest. Be sure to vote for your favorite business in each of the available categories. Businesses must be located in one of our seven coverage areas; Mason, Bracken, Lewis, Fleming, Robertson Counties as well as Brown and Adams County in Ohio.

Voting ends on Nov. 2 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

Winners will be announced in our Dec. 27, 2025 issue.

It’s going to be a beautiful day to visit the pumpkin patch, and we are open 10–6 today! $5.00 admission fee per person (2 & under are free!) bring the family out and spend the day with us, we’d love to have y’all!

We’ve got pony rides, hay rides to the pumpkin patch and corn maze, petting zoo, pulled pork pig train rides, gem mining, parakeet encounter, jumbo slides, “R” farm craft shop for a unique gift, good food and plenty of room for the kids to run and play!

The weather is feeling like fall and we are here for it! Come spend the weekend with us here at the farm!

Hours: Saturday 10–6 & Sunday 12–6
$5.00 admission fee per person (2 & under are free!) we accept both cash and card payment methods.

•• Weekend events include “R” farm gift shop will be open, pulled pork pig train rides, pony rides, let the kids zip down the zip line, gem mining, hay rides to and from the pumpkin patch and corn maze, pick your own pumpkins, parakeet encounter, petting zoo (.50 cup of feed) and plenty of room for the kids to run and play!

Thank you all for shopping small and supporting locals during our opening weekends here at the farm! We couldn’t do it without you all, we appreciate all of you and enjoy having your families visit us!!

• Today’s Events & Activities: greased pig contests at 1 & 4, it’s a $2.00 participation fee and trophy’s are awarded to the winners of each group!

• Pumpkin Pageant registration begins at 1:00 and pageant follows, (children 0-6 years of age) fall or farm attire welcome, $10.00 entry fee per participant.

•• All weekend we will have local vendors, food vendors, gem mine, face painting, bounce houses, “R” farm gift shop will be open, pulled pork pig train rides, pony rides, let the kids zip down the zip line, hay rides to and from the pumpkin patch and corn maze, pick your own pumpkins, petting zoo (.50 cup of feed) and plenty of room for the kids to run and play!
