The committee has been notified of several area children who are less fortunate, and their names have been collected, the names of children and families will be kept confidential.

Welcome to the start of summer! Who’s ready for another update? This year for our midway provider we have found a new company and are excited to welcome Capital Land Carnival company! Our team worked tirelessly over the fall meeting with different providers to bring more rides and games to Mayfield, and we think this company is what our fair patrons are looking for! We have been advised that there will be several rides for kids of all ages and some rides never before seen in Mayfield! We want to thank Green Mountain Amusement’s for helping us in our time of need the past couple years, they were a wonderful company to work with, but we wanted to bring more attractions to our fair. The 49th Annual Bannertown Fair is going to be new and exciting!!!! 🎡🎟️🎠

Who’s ready for some announcements?! The committee has been hard at work over the winter making the 49th Annual Bannertown Fair one you won’t want to miss! First question on everyone’s mind each year is what will the parade theme be. Well this year a celebrity is coming to the fair on Saturday! When someone this well know wants to come to the fair, we felt it was only right to make them the Grand Marshall and theme the parade accordingly. We are extremely excited to announce that “Santa Claus is coming to Bannertown”! That’s right Santa is coming to the fair and is sticking around after the parade to see all the boys and girls for pictures! We can’t wait to show him a Merry Mayfield time as all our parade participants show off their holiday spirit! Let’s bring some holly jolly floats down our streets, play some Christmas music, and celebrate Christmas in August! Danny Lynaugh is entertaining the crowd while the massive equipment shift goes over to Tommy V Live! They play tonight from 7-11! Fireworks will be around dusk during their break. Midway rides and fair food from 6-10. Come help us finish out the 48th Annual Bannertown Fair! 🍻🎤🎸🤘🎡🎠
