Rip Raps At the Crossroads

The drawing room… a name first used in the 1600s. In period movies and shows you will hear things like…”the ladies will go through…” meaning they will withdraw into a more comfortable space leaving the gentleman in the dining room. Later in the evening there was a “rejoining” where the gentlemen would rejoin the women in the drawing room.

We’re sure we’re breaking all the rules here. But we don’t care. 😊
