Good morning, beautiful soul…
I’d like to ask you a question…
Would you describe yourself as having carved out a joyful piece of life for yourself?
If you have, congratulations.
However, if you’re still striving for it, that’s wonderful too because it means there’s still a lot of adventure ahead of you.
As someone who is constantly trying to push the envelope to see how far I can grow, I’d like to offer you a little advice… and I promise you, this is coming from someone who has had to take a good, hard, honest look at her own life more than once. Sometimes we build a life that becomes... feels... familiar. It may not be perfect, maybe certain things don’t feel completely right, but we learn to live with it because we tell ourselves: “This is just how life is.” And you know what, sometimes that’s perfectly okay. But since life can be an ever-changing mystery, there may come a day when something inside of you shifts and suddenly, what once felt acceptable to you no longer feels aligned with your spirit.
If your life has been moving like carefully scheduled clockwork, the way so many people are taught to live… where fitting in and maintaining a certain level of security becomes the goal… then wanting change can feel completely terrifying. Making a move to shift things can feel like your entire life is sitting on top of a giant tablecloth you suddenly grabbed the corners of, pulling the whole thing off. Everything goes flying because you finally realize you do not have to settle for a life that no longer feels right to your soul.
You… we… are allowed to begin again. You are allowed to want more peace, more honesty, more joy, more life. And yes, I know, starting over takes courage, and a lot of it. It's not for everybody... but you should at least know the option is always there.
Beautiful soul, if something no longer works for you, you have every right to say: “I need a clean slate.” “I want better for myself.” And remember this, If you deeply love someone who refuses to grow, heal, or move forward, you cannot carry them into the next chapter of your life. If they are meant to grow with you, they will.
Life is a lot like school. We move from one level to the next by learning the lessons from the level before, and not everyone will be ready to move at the same time… and that’s okay too. So if you want it, go get yourself a healthy piece of life. The kind you truly deserve. However, if your life already feels beautiful, stop for a moment and appreciate the blessings you’ve already experienced. Forgive yourself for the mistakes, celebrate the growth and never underestimate the power of loving yourself enough to begin again.
Thank you for being here with me this morning.
God bless you.
Have an amazing Sunday.
