The reason people are so drawn to this concept [Doing Business Differently] is that they want their work to be meaningful. Work is a large portion of our lives but most people find it unfulfilling. Although they might enjoy some aspects of their work, primarily they are bored, frustrated or completely unhappy. Or they don’t enjoy the people they work with/for. But they can’t walk away because they have families to support and bills to pay. Most people feel stuck, trapped by the work lives they have created.

Last night, I set my alarm for 5:45 am. When my phone chirped, I stumbled out of bed and towards to my life-giving coffee maker. Then I sat down on my tile floor, placed three pillar candles in front of me, and lit them one at a time.
