Calling all EMTs, Paramedics, Certified First Responders, & RN/MDs:

We have a horse show coming up at the beginning of June that needs to have a medic on the grounds for anyone who may need assistance during the show. This is a paid position and does not need to be one person working all the hours. It is a Tuesday through Sunday job for 2 weeks. Hours needed are as follows:

Tuesday 11 am to 6pm
Wednesday & Thursday 8 am to end of day (typically 6:30 pm)
Friday & Saturday 8 am to end of day (typically 7:30 pm)
Sunday same as Wednesday & Thursday

Dates are: June 2nd-7th and June 9th - 14th

BFC is back at the North Iowa Events Center this Saturday, December 6th, in the All Seasons building! Doors open at 6 pm with the fights starting at 7 pm.

There have been some changes to the rules. Here are a few of those:

1. NO bags/purses will be allowed in the building
2. NO outside food or beverages(including tumblers/cups). Food deliveries will not be accepted. A bar (with soda and water) and a concession area will be on-site.
3. NO weapons of any kind. All guests will be screened with a metal detector upon entry.
4. NO fighting outside of the ring.
5. Spectators will be allowed to leave the building during intermission only to smoke in a designated area. There will be a fenced-off area to the south of the building that can be used for smoking. Anyone who leaves the building at any other time will pay a re-entry fee to BFC.

The North Iowa Events Center prides itself on being a safe environment for the community to have fun. Anyone not following the rules will be asked to leave.
