Today, members of Mashpee Permanent Firefighters Local 2519 had the chance to volunteer at KC Coombs Field Day, and we had an incredible time!

We spent the day helping out, cheering on students, and enjoying all the excitement that makes Field Day one of the best days of the school year. We're still not sure who had more fun—the kids or us.

One of the highlights was seeing some of our members reconnect with teachers they had when they attended KC Coombs years ago. It's a reminder of how special it is to serve in the same community where many of us grew up.

A big thank you to the staff, volunteers, and students who made the day such a success. We were honored to be a small part of it and can't wait for next year!

Mashpee Permanent Firefighters Local 2519 is proud to award two scholarships to these deserving Mashpee High School graduating seniors as they continue their education and pursue careers in public service.

We were very impressed by their applications, accomplishments, and essays. We look forward to seeing all they achieve in the future.

Sponsorship donations help us supply the FUN on dance day. We provide shirts and art supplies so students can decorate them and wear them on the day of our Dance-A-Thon. We also hand out glow sticks for students to move and groove with. They LOVE it! We’ve held this event in the gym for what will be 3 years now, and it’s an absolute blast. We fill it with black lights so everything GLOWS and it’s a PARTY!

We’re thrilled to announce a first for our department! Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our staff, we have officially placed our spare ambulance in full ALS service. This means we now have four ALS transport ambulances, ready to serve you!
