🚨 RACE UPDATE: NEW DATE – NOVEMBER 15!

Due to the uncertainty surrounding the approaching hurricane, we’ve made the difficult decision to reschedule the inaugural Lake Isabel Off Road Triathlon to Sunday, November 15, 2026.

While we were incredibly excited to race this weekend, the safety of our athletes, volunteers, and staff, along with delivering the race experience you deserve, must come first.

All registrations will automatically transfer to the new date.

We appreciate everyone’s patience, flexibility, and understanding. A tremendous amount of work has gone into bringing this event to life, and we can’t wait to welcome you to Lake Isabel on November 15!

We’re keeping a close eye on the weather developing in the Gulf this week, but for now, race prep is moving forward as planned!

For those asking about the course, our bike and run course preview videos have been published to our feed and are available to check out now. And for a little perspective on the bike course—we’re preparing it so that if my truck can fit through it, width and height, you can too. 🚵🌲

Regardless of what the weather ultimately brings, an incredible amount of work has gone into creating this event from the ground up. We could not be more grateful for the generosity of Anthony and the entire Lake Isabel staff and the work they’ve put in to help bring such a unique event to life.

Building a first-year event is always an adventure, and this one has been special from the beginning. We’re excited to welcome everyone to Lake Isabel and show you what we’ve been working on.

We’ll continue watching the forecast closely and will communicate any important updates as we get closer to race day. Until then, we’re moving forward and getting ready for Saturday! 🔥

Something different is coming to Lake Isabel. 🌲🏊‍♂️🚵‍♂️🏃

On November 15th Lake Isabel Farm and Outsider Endurance are bringing racing off the pavement and onto one of the most unique venues in Louisiana.

Choose your challenge:

🌲 Off Road Triathlon — 0.5 mile swim • 10 mile off-road bike • 5K off-road run
🏃 5K — one lap around Lake Isabel on the off-road course
🏊‍♂️🏃 Splash & Dash — 0.5 mile swim • 5K off-road run

The swim takes place in Lake Isabel’s clear blue water, the bike explores 10 miles of completely off-road terrain, and every race finishes with the 5K course around the lake.

And the race is only part of the day. Every athlete receives full-day beach access to Lake Isabel, so when you cross the finish line, stick around, hit the beach and enjoy the property. Spectators can purchase a special, discounted pass after registration.

Oh—and that shirt? 👀
Every registered athlete gets the inaugural Lake Isabel Off Road race shirt.
