Congratulations to Sounds on the Square for receiving a $1,000 grant from the Martinsville-Henry County Economic Development Corporation's Tourism Division, VisitMartinsville! The marketing co-op grant assists businesses in the Martinsville-Henry County tourism industry with the funding of professional marketing services to aid in the stability and growth of these businesses, potentially increasing tax revenue and jobs within Martinsville and Henry County, Virginia. The grant will be used to purchase 1/8-page ads in the Henry County Enterprise which will provide additional promotion of Sounds on the Square, our performers – Andy Burnette Trio, Barefoot Modern, The League Of Ordinary Gentlemen, Forrest Taylor Music, and The Ghosts of Liberty – and our sponsors – Carter Bank & Trust, Children First Pediatrics of Virginia, P.C., Deskins, Inc., The Estate & Elder Law Center of Southside Virginia, Ho**er Furnishings, The Lester Group, New College Institute, Sarver Cleaning Services, and Scuffle Hill Brewing Company.
