King of The Hill Mud Boss guys night

I will be racing at Outlaw Speedway this Saturday in Martinsville. Would love to have some more guys show up in the mud boss class. I will also be entering in the short course modifieds as well. Time to get the dust knocked off fellas.

I need to get a feeler for how many guys plan on coming out next week for the King of the King of The Hill Mud Boss guys night.

Please comment so we know if this is going to take off.

Comments will be cut off by Friday so I know if this will be a go or not.

I have 2 extra cars that I would be able to rent out for $25 and you cover any damaged parts.
For those who don’t quite have a car ready that want to race.

These are the transponders needed to compete at Outlaw R/C Speedway. They take about 7-10 days to arrive so I wouldn’t wait to get them ordered. The track just ordered 20 of them as well.

Race Nights:

Bring your own power. This is an outdoor track and power is not supplied. I will have a generator and do not mind sharing to help guys out.

Tentatively starting Tuesday May 2nd

Cost $15 per person.

Track opens 6PM

Practice 6-6:30

2 lap qualifying

10 lap heat races

10 Lap B-Main
(top 2 transfer to A-Main rest better luck next week)

30 Lap A-Main (8 car field)

We will use cautions, rolling starts and Lap Monitor system to make this as real as big car racing. The track is big and plenty of room to have clean racing.

What is it?

-This is a week night race that we will have at Outlaw R/C Speedway.

Why was I added?

-Over the years I have raced with you and trust that you are a great R/C driver that can race with others cleanly with sportsmanship. We have had good racing times together and I would like to create more.

What are we racing?

-Traxxas Slash 2WD cars with mud Boss bodies.

What are the rules?

Mud Boss body (Salvas or similar spec)

-Chassis
Box Stock Traxxas 2WD truck

-Parts allowed
Only Traxxas parts allowed on vehicle, no aftermarket brand parts unless stated in rules.
(Any after market shock spring)
(Traxxas Big Bore shocks allowed)
(Traxxas titanium shock shafts allowed)

-Electronics
(Titan T12 motor,xl-5 esc,blue traxxas servo)

-Battery
(Any 2-cell battery is allowed)
Your battery may have no more than 8.45 bolts at any time during racing event. Anything over will result in DQ

-Gear
Fixed Gear set
86 spur gear——23 pinion

-Wheel/Tires
Only traxxas slash stock 2WD tires and wheels allowed.
Tires allowed (BF Goodrich, Kuhmo, Spec)
No S1 compound tires

Engine Claim:
A vehicles T12 can be claimed for $25 and a new in package T12. The person must claim after heat races are finished so that claimed person has time to install new motor before feature event.

This is meant to be a cheap race class and allows for great racing. It will come down to consistency and setup.
