Ed is one of my oldest and dearest friends, so he lets me slide when I pick at him.(love ya Ed) Since he is getting better, I made a meme with a photo he sent me this morning. He loved it and gave me permission to post it, so here it is!!!

He is improving everyday. He can even see out of that eye!!!! He is tough as nails and even drove to Chattanooga on Sunday to teach a sight search, rescue and recovery class this week!

FROM ED:
I want to apologize for not responding to alot of people yesterday I wasn't feeling the best (i have had better days) I want to say THANK YOU to Jeff & Dan. I do not wanna mention any other names for fear of leaving someone out, that would upset me & feel even worse, but this organization (King of Kings & also ALL the kart racers & thier families that I have met over the last 14 years) is MY second FAMILY. I want to say THANK YOU from even the smallest to the largest thing you did whether physically or spiritually, you DO NOT know what it means to me. Also I WILL give God, my Heavenly Father the credit for this because without him it could have been ALOT different,I KNOW he is NOT through with me on this earth yet, & he has plans for me for which I DO NOT know. I would ask one thing of EVERYBODY please, if you do not know the Lord as your savior please do. And the last thing I want to ask EVERYONE please, if you have questions please direct message me for reasons I would prefer not to mention (personal) & I will answer ANY questions that you may have the best I can, & PLEASE do not post anything personal about yesterday Please.

Ed is home. I talked to him about 10:30 right before be left the hospital. He does not have a concussion and the Dr. doesn't think he ever lost consciousness. He had a deep bone contusion on his left femur, but it is not broken. Staples in the top of his head and sutures around his left eye. As I posted earlier, his nose is broken and he has a facial fracture in his cheek. Both of those will heal on there own. Road rash across his back and shoulders. He wanted me to let everyone know that he appreciates everything that everyone did for him and he appreciates the prayers and thoughts.

We hope everyone got home safe. Thank you al for racing with us this weekend.

Just talked to Ed. He has a broken nose and a small facial fracture around the eye socket where the laceration. No need to fix the nose or that fracture. His leg is just bruised very badly. Once they suture his eye up, they will release him. We, Amy and I are gonna take his truck home and his daughter will bring him home when he's discharged.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us today.

Most importantly, thank ynou all that offered to help get us what we needed for Ed. He is at the med in Memphis. His daughter is there, but can not go in because he is still in the ER. The Dr. Told her that he is in decent condition for what he went through but they are going to do more tests , scans and x rays. I will keep you all posted as we learn more.

Safe travels as you all head home and thanks again to your continued support.
