The award winning Tennessee Soybean Festival in Martin, Tennessee, is a 28 year tradition celebrating the soybean and soybean farmers of Tennessee and the heartland. Beginning the first week of September, the festival commemorates the deep, historical impact of the soybean crop on the economy of Tennessee and the City of Martin. Each year the festival draws a large crowd of 35-40,000 attendees from both in and out of the state. The Soybean Festival features lots of exciting events!

After extensive conversations and careful consideration, we have made the decision to pause the Tennessee Soybean Festival this year. Given the current financial challenges facing our city, along with the budget, manpower, and time required to responsibly plan an event of this scale, the committee unanimously agreed this is the most responsible path forward at this time.

We understand this news will be disappointing to many, while others may feel this is the right decision for our community.

We want to sincerely thank the Tennessee Soybean Festival committee members and volunteers who dedicate countless unpaid hours each year to make this event possible. Their passion, commitment, and love for this community have never gone unnoticed, and we are deeply grateful for their service and leadership through this decision.

We remain committed to moving our community forward responsibly and sustainably, and we appreciate the community's continued support and grace as we do so together.

🎡After years of calls, emails, and outreach, we want to be transparent with our community about something we’ve been working hard on behind the scenes…
Since losing our longtime carnival following COVID and major changes in the amusement industry, we have been actively searching for the right company to bring that experience back to the Tennessee Soybean Festival.
Finding a carnival today isn’t as simple as it once was. Routes, scheduling, staffing, and safety requirements all have to align, and for a smaller market like Martin, it can be a challenge to find a company that is both available and the right fit for our community.

But we haven’t stopped trying.
We are currently looking for a safe, family friendly amusement company that would be interested in coming to Martin for this year’s festival happening September 9-12, 2026 or for future years!
Our carnival has always been located right in the heart of downtown and has always been a pillar of the festival, and we know how much it means to so many of you.

While last year’s inflatable park was successful and received great feedback, we also heard you.
We know many of you want to see a traditional carnival return, and we do too.

So we’re asking for your help.
If you know of a reputable carnival or amusement company, or have any connections: please share this post or tag them below.

We are eager and ready to work with the right group to bring this experience back to Martin.
And no matter what, we’re committed to making this year’s festival a great one.

If we are unable to secure a carnival for 2026, don’t worry, we will be bringing back the inflatable park area for this year’s festival. It was a great addition, and our community showed up and supported it.

Thank You for your support & understanding
