Had a great time in Florida with all of our racing family even though it was so very hot...we really needed a getaway after that nasty ice storm the week before. Our trip was delayed because a tree was struck by lightning in our backyard and landed on our garage. Didnt have power for 2 days and had to take care of the tree problem before leaving.
Got to spend a couple days relaxing in Florida with Junior and Lisa before heading to the track. Matt knew going into this race he was going to have to figure out the car again since it had a new rear-end installed over the off season. While working through it all the transmission decided to throw away second gear and not work properly lol. All of our race family stepped in and helped to get the transmission rebuilt and fixed so Matt could get back out there. We are definitely so very thankful for everything that everyone did for us to get the car back running! We are blessed with so many awesome teammates, friends and family!! My sister wife is home and we are ready to fix her up for North Carolina. Too many people to tag and I don't want to forget anyone...just know we love and appreciate you all 😊❤️
