In regards to the Lincoln Trail Triathlon which was to be hosted September 1st, 2024 at Lincoln Trail State Park in Marshall, Illinois; we regret to inform you that the race will be unable to be held this year as scheduled. Friends of Lincoln Trail and the park staff at Lincoln Trail State Park have been wonderful and supportive of our event, but unfortunate circumstances out of our control on our end have necessitated canceling the event. We want to thank everyone who was interested in the event and reached out to us as well as those helping behind the scenes. The race and the venue still has huge potential for the future. Although we do not have a date set for Lincoln Trail 2025—it is something we are going to continue working towards. Refunds for race registrants have been issued. Once more we would like to extend thanks to Lincoln Trail State Park, The Friends of Lincoln Trail and all those who were involved with the event. We look forward to seeing you all in 2025!
