The Colors of Winter House or Business Decorating Competition is BACK to raise money for Lyon County Heart to Heart!

Registration of houses' or businesses will take place now through November 27, 2026. NEW THIS YEAR: Cost to register your house or businesses is FREE!

Voting will take place on November 27th - December 26, 2026. Winners will be announced the week of December 28th.

The top 3 houses that raise the most money will crowned 1st, 2nd & 3rd in the contest. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, & 3rd, as well as peoples choice that will be a Facebook "Like" Competition on the Sounds of Summer page.

Let's give a MAJOR shoutout to the Sounds of Summer Committee!!! (mostly known for the amount of candy they throw out to end the parade) They do a LOT of behind the scenes work for this event! In fact they are already meeting now to talk about NEXT year! 👏 From acquiring sponsors, performers, coordination with other events over the weekend, road closure, permits there isn't much they DONT do!
