Mariposa Community Chorus The Mariposa Community Chorus hosts 2 chorale concerts per year. Members are adults and high school age students passionate about chorale music

We are the oldest Community Chorus in the "Golden Chain" - over 44 years old! There are no auditions required, just need to commit to coming to practice each week and enjoy singing with others. We give 2 concerts a year: one in the Spring and one in Winter. We also sing on occasion for community organizations and the elderly (assisted living/LTC). We are a non-profit and provide a scholarship each year for a high school senior.

The Mariposa Community Chorus and the Mariposa Childrenโ€™s Choirโ€™s Spring concert, May 2026, featured a patriotic program celebrating USAโ€™s 250th anniversary. In addition to patriotic songs, included were favorite songs from different eras, including the theme from Alice, Hair, Phantom of the Opera medley, Defying Gravity, and so many more. We are a nonprofit group and supply a scholarship to a graduating high school student each year pursuing a degree in music or related area. Join us for our winter semester starting August 10, 2026, 6 PM, practice place to be announced closer to the date.
