Wildwood Film Festival Filmmakers, sponsors, and YOU! All "Celebrating Wisconsin film talent". Aspirations grew from there, and the festival found its roots in Appleton.

From its humble beginnings, the Wildwood Film Festival has been consistently dedicated to Wisconsin film talent. With its eighth event it has showcased over 165 films that all have connections to our fine state. The very first Wildwood Film Festival was held at the Historic West Theatre in Green Bay in 2001. The three-day event showcased ten films (including "The Hunt", a full-length dark comedy c

reated by the festival's founders). The weekend was a great success and sparked a second event that played for a sold-out crowd at the Crescent Theatre in downtown Shawano. Events have been held at the Performing Arts Center (PAC) and the Big Picture Theatre. The Wildwood Film Festival continues to grow each year and the commitment to Wisconsin filmmakers and film talent is just as strong.

UPCOMING Filmmaking Event at the Brown County Library - June 1, 2024

Still looking for some Green Bay based (and beyond) screenwriters to join us on a panel.

We've already got a nice assortment of talent for a Production panel but could still add a body or two.

With possibly another panel on Acting?!

Also, would like to have a spot for head shots if people are interested in getting involved as actors!

Alright Wisconsin Filmmakers!! We're putting together an afternoon of Filmmaking panels and workshops AT the Brown County Library on JUNE 1!! This is being done in partnership with the Green Bay Film Festival! What a great way to kick off a summer FILLED with Filmmaking!!

The main focus will be on Preproduction and I already anticipate a panel AND workshop on screenwriting alone! Possibly a panel on Producing and even an area dedicated to head shots for potential actors! What would YOU like to speak on, help with, be part of?! Potentially a great place to connect!
