🎉 The 2026 RTA Fest design is here!

This year’s design was created by Marietta College junior Bryant Young, who brought a fun, adventurous twist to the festival. Inspired by a Candy Land-style game board, the design guides you through the events of RTA Fest – paired with elements like trail markers and arrow signs you’d find out on the bike path and trails.

Bryant is currently studying graphic design and hopes to pursue logo/branding or sports design after graduation.

Leith Run Recreation Area is now open and fully operational!

Wayne National Forest is happy to share that the Leith Run Recreation Area on our Marietta Unit is now fully operational and open. The campground’s bathhouse has been restored from damage sustained during a 2024 flood. The bathhouse has a new water heater, and its showers, sinks, and flush toilets have been cleaned and repaired. These repairs will allow visitors to access all the amenities the campground has to offer.

The last flood damage to Leith Run Recreation Area occurred on April 14, 2024, when the Ohio River crested at 37.8 feet. When the waters receded, they left behind a thick layer of mud and sediment. Wayne National Forest staff members scraped and shoveled until they were able to reopen most of the campground last year, keeping only the bathhouse closed for ongoing repairs. We appreciate the public's patience and support during the repair process.

Today is a reminder that the rivers we paddle and the trails we ride don’t stay beautiful by accident.

They stay that way because people show up for them.
