Our Impact Fund continues to move people, and this year's next grant recipient is BLOC Ministries!

It's fitting that today is National Nonprofit Day, because organizations like BLOC are exactly why this day exists. For over 25 years, BLOC has been showing up for Cincinnati, building real relationships and creating lasting change one neighbor at a time. From youth programs to job training to recovery support, their work is rooted in the belief that people matter and community is worth investing in.

We're proud to stand behind an organization doing this kind of work in our own backyard. That's what moving people to better lives is all about.

Today's also a great day to shout out any nonprofits close to your heart. Who deserves some recognition?

One of the most rewarding parts of our Motz Impact Fund is hearing the stories that come afterward. Recently, we received thank-you notes from Me Animal Advocacy and the Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati - two organizations creating meaningful change in very different ways.

One is helping provide lifesaving care for animals in our community. The other is helping individuals with Down syndrome build confidence, independence, and new opportunities through adaptive bike programming. Different missions, different impacts. But both are reminders that small acts of support have a way of reaching much further than we ever see.

Thank you to these organizations for the work you continue to do. We're honored to play a small part in it! 💚

Let's kick start the weekend with something good! Sometimes impact looks like handwritten thank you notes, colorful drawings, and teachers knowing they don’t have to do it all alone.

This year, our second featured Impact Fund winner is Crayons and Beyond - an organization helping level the playing field for students and educators across Greater Cincinnati by providing essential classroom supplies and resources. Their work helps give both teachers and students the confidence that they have the tools they need to succeed.

Getting notes like these back reminds us exactly why the Impact Fund exists in the first place. Small acts. Real people. Lasting impact. 💚

We had the chance to be a small part of Nate’s wish through SYNlawn Chesapeake Bay and Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic this year. His goal? To kick cancer’s grass. And he did exactly that.

Now he’s got a space of his own to play soccer with his brother, be with his family, and just be a kid. We are grateful to support something like this and to see a wish come to life. This is what it means to move people to better lives 💛
