Annual George A Wood Memorial 5K Run and Walk

Hello everyone! After much discussion we will not be hosting the CPT George Wood Memorial run this year due to a scheduling conflict. Instead, for the month of November, if you run a 5K, ruck one, or something dedicated to George post it, tag the Annual George A Wood Memorial 5K Run and Walk and provide a brief description. I will order shirts after the month is done and will only ask for the cost of the shirt. Thank you all for you continued support. I look forward to seeing what you all do in George's honor!

From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank everyone who reads that for helping our family not forget. While the run is small its participants make a difference I can not quite articulate.

George's family is very blessed to have all of you in our lives. We think of him and the many others who have given their life in sacrifice of this wonderful nation we call home. Our task remains the same: to live and love each day to make their sacrifice worth it.

Good evening everyone. Tomorrow the is day! Weather is going to be good, no rain but dress warm.We will begin at 9 with the National Anthem. We are allowing day-of sign ups. So if you did not sign up yet, that is ok. Also we will have plenty of refreshments.

There will be plenty of parking at Lock 20.

We will be awarding 1st 2nd and 3rd place for males and female plus a youth category.
