Last in our line up this year is me, Martha Quigley, organizer of Harbor Holidays at the Byc. I’m an Oil painter who is always challenging myself with new imagery. Most recently, the human figure has found its way back onto my easel, always with the ocean in mind. This new painting is from a photo I took in July at Fort Beach. I’l have my traditional Marblehead images as well as new oils this weekend at Harbor Holidays at the BYC!

Ray Plouffe of Edgewood Designs crafts artfully designed food serving boards for cheeses, charcuterie, sushi, hors d’oeuvres, breads and much more. He works with locally sourced walnut or maple with some boards displaying a nautical or musical theme. They make great house warming and holiday gifts adding a stylish accent to any room’s decor.

Tom and Samantha peach of First Harbor Company create wreaths using traditional knot work. Their rope wreaths are made from lobster or sailor rope, combining the history of wreaths with the history of rope, with a nod to maritime history. We understand that Samantha has penned a new children’s book too!
