Brp Mod Tour We have competed in PA, OH, NY, WV and Canada.

The BRP Modified Tour was started in 1998 by Tim Engles, Lon and Pam Baker and Randy Myers as a chance for the local big block drivers to compete for a higher purse structure and point fund.

Sharon Speedway and the BRP Modified Tour have announced that the September 12th rained out Weller Memorial Race has been rescheduled to Saturday, May 15, 2027 as scheduling conflicts will not allow the show to be rescheduled in 2026.

Unofficial Final Points for the BRP Modified Tour for 2026. Final check will be done in the next couple days. Thank you to every driver that competed with the BRP Mod Tour this season. We hope 2027 is better to us weatherwise. Have a great Fall and Winter season. We will see you next year!

Congratulations to the 2026 BRP Modified Tour Champion , Erick Rudolph of Ransomville, NY. Erick won two feature events, one at Michaels Mercer Raceway and the other at Sharon Speedway. He finished with 703 points. Second went Rex King, Jr. with a total of 658 points. Third goes to Dr, Brad Rapp with 640 points and fourth to Tyler Willard with 635 points. Rounding out the top five in points was Garrett Krummert with 631 points.

The final event of the 2026 season was held Saturday evening, September 19, 2026 and only the heat races were able to be completed before the rains hit the speedway. The points for that night were added along with the 100 bonus points for perfect attendance, The rained out feature will be run on the Thursday portion of The Steel City Stampede on October 15th. The lineup is set so there will be no additional cars added for that 35-lap feature. Check out Lernervilles page for information about your pit pass refund,

The redraw for the perfect attendance drivers was held in front of the fans for the 2027X Bicknell Chassis and Rex King, Jr. was your winner. The value of that prize was $7,995.00 plus tax.

Keep looking back for more information on the 2026 Banquet date and information. We should know this next week when it will be held. The event will be held again this year at The Rockhouse Bar & Grille.

Just received word from Lernerville Speedway that we are racing tonight! It’s championship night for the BRP Modified Tour. We will be giving away the 2027x Bicknell Chassis to our perfect attendance drivers and we will crown our 2026 Champion. Hot Laps start at 6:00 pm. Pill cutoff is 5:30 pm.

The BRP Modified Tour Weller Family Memorial race at Sharon Speedway has been cancelled for tonight.

Up next will be our final event of the 2026 racing season. It will be held, Saturday, September 19th at Lernerville Speedway. We will crown our champion and give away the 2027x Bicknell chassis to a lucky perfect attendance driver.

Exciting News!!!!!! The BRP Modified Tour Weller Family Memorial Purse has just been updated! Charity Unrue had some extra money and added it back through the field so the race will pay $3,100 to win but $500 to take the green.

Charity also will give out $3,100 in lap money with $100 going to every lap leader of the 31-lap feature event. Charity is also giving money to the followin g positions:

Hard Luck $250
Fastest Lap of Feature $250
First Car Out of Feature $250

Random Position Draw $500

Coming Up Saturday night, September 12, 2026 at Sharon Speedway will be the Weller Family Memorial BRP Modified Tour Event that will pay $3,100 to win and $310 to take the green in the 31-lap feature. The extra money for this event is thanks to Charity Unrue who has collected the difference in positions for our drivers. There will also be a bonus of $3,100 in lap money if a driver leads all 31 laps or $100 for every lap led. There will also be special awards for extra money including hard charger, hard luck, etc. Please bring your cars out to Sharon Speedway to honor the very special Jim Weller family who were killed when their airplane crashed shortly after takeoff about a year ago. Their remaining son, Jimmy Weller, III will be in attendance so if you see him, please give him a special "Thank You" for letting Charity Unrue go ahead with this and helping her out. Get those cars ready and we hope to see a pit area full of BRP Modifieds.
