Owned by Big Canoe Chapel, and operated by volunteers, the Terraces Concert Series raises money for charitable purposes. TERRACES CONCERTS FAQ

OVERVIEW: The Terraces venue is owned and operated by the Big Canoe Chapel, and policies are set by the Big Canoe Chapel Board of Trustees. The workers at the concerts are volunteers of the Terraces Committee. Profits from concerts are used by the Big Cano

e Chapel to support local charities and collage scholarships for Pickens and Dawson County students. The Terraces Concert Series is intended to raise money to support charities while bringing entertainment to the community. The Terraces Committee thanks all attendees for their support, and to our sponsors whose financial contribution helps keep ticket prices low. TICKETS: If you purchased a single concert ticket online, your confirmation email is your ticket. Ticket agents can check the printed list of purchases to find your purchase information when you check in, however, if possible please print your confirmation. If you purchased "Pick 4" or Season Pass, you will receive those tickets at the first concert you attend. "Pick 4" tickets can be used by anyone at any concert(s). SEATING: There is terraced area with stone and is not be comfortable for long periods. Most people bring folding camp style chairs to sit in that can be setup in the terraced area or the surrounding grassy areas. Only chairs are allowed in the terraced area; no large coolers or tables. The grassy areas are available for chairs, coolers and tables. Chairs can be setup in advance starting Saturday morning day of the concert. Any chairs setup prior to Saturday morning will be removed and stacked off to the side. Only chairs can save spots, roping off areas is not allowed. PLEASE do not move other people’s chairs or the Terraces Committee’s tables or tents. Please note: the Terraces Committee members are setting up for the concert generally between 9am-11am and cones will block off the near ticket booth to any cars for the safety of the committee. FOOD/BEVERAGES: Attendees are allowed to bring in their own food and beverages, however, the Chapel requests no alcohol in the terraced seating area. Also no large coolers or tables allowed in the terraced seating area to save room for more chairs, and to leave open walking areas. You can setup chairs, tables and have coolers in the grassy areas behind the terraced area. Picnic tables are open to all ticket holders, and you can tailgate in the parking lot next to your car. When available an independently owned food truck will be onsite for attendees to purchase food. PARKING: Carpooling is always encouraged to reduce the congestion of cars and due to limited parking availability. Please follow the direction of the parking attendants when parking and if wanting to tailgate with friends please try to arrive together as it is hard to try and save spots for friends arriving later. There are areas left open for safety and necessity for exits, so if arriving late please do not park where there are cones placed even if it appears there is space for your car; this can cause a blockage and cars trying to leave early might not be able to exit. RAIN: All attempts are made to have the concert. In the event of heavy rain, if the predicted rain will stop shortly after 7pm, then the concert will likely start late. Updates regarding delays will be posted on the Terraces Facebook “The Terraces of Big Canoe Chapel” page and a recording will be available at 470-273-6767. If a concert gets cancelled, additional information will be published the following day.

Parking Instructions

Based on the current weather forecast, The Invaders concert is still on for tonight.

Right now, the forecast shows a 50% chance of rain, and NO severe weather. The rain may cause a delay, but the band and the food trucks will be ready to rock and serve.

People have set up their chairs in anticipation of a great night of music and fun.

Safety is our number one concern. If the weather forecast changes we will update our The Terraces of Big Canoe Chapel page, and our Terraces Weather Hotline, 470 273-6767.

Thank you in advance for your interest and we will see you tonight!
