Day 2 at the New York State FFA Convention was filled with great experiences and accomplishments for our members!

Carter and Gunner had the opportunity to tour Hoover Dairy and learn more about the operation and dairy industry. Our delegates participated in committee work, helping discuss and shape business for the organization.

The highlight of the day was our Quiz Bowl team finishing in the Top 8 out of 70 teams across the state — an incredible accomplishment! We are proud of all of our members for representing our chapter so well throughout convention.

This evening we will be attending a Buffalo Bisons baseball game and then making the trip home! It’s been a long, but rewarding two days!

Our students arrived in Buffalo this morning for the NYS FFA Convention!

Throughout the day, members had the opportunity to participate in tours and compete in various contests, representing our chapter with professionalism and pride.

This evening, we are attending the convention session to recognize award winners and hear from the keynote speaker. We are proud of our students and look forward to the rest of the convention experience!

Our 8th graders have been busy in the shop putting their new skills to work!

They recently completed a woodworking project where they had the choice to create coasters, a key holder, a serving tray or a spatula. Each project showed off their creativity, craftsmanship and attention to detail.

From start to finish, they planned, measured, cut and assembled their pieces - and the results speak for themselves!

The Marathon FFA Alumni & Supporters - NY is kicking off a Donation & Sponsorship Drive to help send our students to Summer Camp at Oswegatchie this summer!

Camp Oswegatchie provides students with incredible opportunities to build leadership skills, make lifelong friendships, and experience hands-on outdoor and agricultural learning alongside FFA members from across New York.

Strawberry Fundraiser Update

Thank you to all that ordered Strawberries! We sold 110 flats total! They will be delivered to MCS High School on Tuesday, March 10th.

You may pick up anytime between 3pm-5pm. If you ordered directly from a student, you can coordinate with them for pick up or pick up directly from the school.
