For 2026, the iconic Halloween Film Festival will be held at Roanoke Island Festival Park! Don’t miss it!!

We are honored and excited to bring the Halloween International Film Festival 2026 to Roanoke Island Festival Park, home of the iconic Elizabeth II, this October. The Elizabeth II (pictured here decorated for Halloween Island in 2024) is a working recreation of a 16th Century sailing ship, like those that brought The Lost Colony to these very shores in 1587.

This Friday, November 7, we will wrap up our 2025 Halloween Island fundraising efforts and we will select the winners of the final raffle prizes during the monthly First Friday street celebration.

THIS IS YOUR FINAL OPPORTUNITY to drop a couple bucks into The Halloween Island Fund to benefit local Dare County charities through our partnership with the Outer Banks Community Foundation using the following link and/or QR code (whichever works best for you). We are beyond grateful to The Outer Banks Visitors Bureau, without whose support as our prinary sponsor, one if this would’ve been possible. We appreciate everyone who came out to support the festivities and all of the participating businesses that made HALLOWEEN ISLAND such a success!!

ALL THE VAMPIRES (and so many others!) descended upon NOUVEINS VAMPIRE BAR for an incredible Halloween Night Spectacular! The Camerons enjoyed their IV Blood Bags of delicious “red wine” while characters from Anne Rice’s vampire novels made appearances. Even the band was decked out in true Gothic form! Thanks to everyone who showed up for this amazing evening on Halloween Island!

What an incredible night we had on Saturday!! From new friends visiting Halloween Island from out of town (dressed as Buttercup & Westley) to locals like Ashley & Evan (as lovey-dovey sharks) and the hundreds of others in between wearing costumes of every sort, the streets of Downtown Manteo were packed with folks enjoying the spirit (and the spirits!) of the season. Thanks to everyone who came out, and we look forward to next Thursday & Friday for the final two nights of HALLOWEEN ISLAND!
