First Friday is a fun-filled, family-oriented celebration held the first Friday of each month, April-December, 6-8 p.m. on the Downtown Manteo Waterfront.

It's a beautiful day for First Friday in downtown Manteo! ☀️

Join us this evening (Friday, June 5) between 6pm and 8pm for live music, dancing, art, shopping, food, drinks, and community merriment.

Dare Arts is hosting the opening of Essie Somma's painting exhibit and the opening of Tiny Art Big Room, and they will have line dancing with Andrea, hula hooping with Summer, and fire dancing with Panda in The Courtyard.

There will also be live music by Mama's Black Sheep in The Davis Lot, The Walking Dolphins at Magnolia Pavilion, 3 Electric at Poor Richard's, The Bar Cats Duo at NouVines, That Guy Shane at Old Tom's Beer & Wine, and DJ Night with Lady Lux at Lost Colony Tavern.

The First Friday Manteo Stroll, where restaurants and shops in downtown Manteo stay open late with specials, live music, sales, and events at their locations, will also be happening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Check out the blue graphic to see who is participating this evening.

Happy June!! There are so many cool things in store for this week's First Friday!!

- Dare Arts has 2 brand new exhibitions opening inside the Gallery, and they will have line dancing with Andrea, hula hooping with Summer Spins, and fire dancing with Panda Daniels in The Courtyard from 6pm to 8:15pm.
