Natchitoches Louisiana’s National Country Music recording artist, Trini Triggs, is headlining the Texaco Country Showdown Local Competition in Mansfield, Louisiana. Triggs got a taste for country music from his mother, who listened to nothing else. He was featured on Nashville’s New Faces show which launched the careers of stars like Randy Travis and Brooks & Dunn. Trini sings songs appealing to that all-important female demographic – songs more about “Lovin’ than Cheatin’!”
His 1997 recording contract with Curb Records resulted in his self-titled album having three singles on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & tracks charts. A fourth single charted in 2004, with one landing at number one on the top 100 Christian Songs Chart. His CD’s have featured legendary artists Charlie Pride, John Conley, the Bellamy Brothers. He has shared the stage with other greats, such as, Garth Brooks, George Strait and Brooks & Dunn.
Some of his recordings are, “Horse to Mexico,” “The Last Dance,” and “Straight Tequila.” Get ready ladies, Trini is taking the stage in Mansfield, live, up-close and in person!
