Submitted by Bettie Gillyard Griggs-I’ve also attached a photo memory of Sonda and I from August 2024, at the 10th Gillyard Johnson Mahoney Family Reunion. I can still recall how she helped this senior citizen(me) with my cell phone and music. She showed me such kindness and patience.

With heartfelt sorrow, the Gillyard–Johnson–Mahoney Family Reunion family extends our deepest sympathy to the loved ones of our dear cousin Sonda. She will remain a cherished part of our legacy.

During this difficult time, please know that the entire family stands with you in prayer, love, and remembrance. May the memories you shared bring comfort, and may the strength of family surround you with peace.
