Hand Jam for the community
Hand Jam is an event and a non-profit organization that was put together by Nate Wieland to bring people together through music. Every Wednesday at 9pm we invite you out to The Electric Co. in Mansfield to come jam with us. Some instruments are provided, but feel free to bring your own. We encourage you to play along, dance, even sing! It’s for people of any experience level. Don’t want to play? Have a drink and enjoy the music! The Electric Co., being a concert venue, is open to all ages. However, once a month we host Fam Jam, that’s for the whole family. It’s the first Sunday of every month from 2-4pm at the Richland Academy of Arts, downtown across the street from the carousel! There is chalk provided for the musically shy. The Hand Jam Tribe does other community outreach programs as well, such as libraries rock, wishes for kids, Metronome Music Festival, and others. We want to bring music to peoples lives. We want to get the community more involved with each other in a positive way! Show people that there’s more to do with music and more good that comes out of it than just the noise.
