Sunday evening update: We are a go! 🎇🎆

07/05/2026

Our show should be back to 100% tonight, had a computer failure last night at 6 pm, and had to go to a backup system, which had some issues.

Rebuilt the show player and should be good to go tonight.

Christmas in June! Attended my first Ohio Light mini. Learned a lot, won a couple of prizes, brought a few things (Don’t tell the wife), and met people who have some amazing light shows, including the Lunar Family Lights, winners of the Great Christmas Light Fight.

Stay tuned for news on our 4th of July light shows.

My job takes me to New Orleans a few times a year. Last week, I was there and got to see the city beyond the French Quarter and C*D.

I was surprised to see that many people decorate their homes for Mardi Gras. Many even redecorate their Christmas trees in gold, green and purple decor.

I couldn't resist not brining some of that back north with me.

Sunshine and 50° always nice to tear down when the weather doesn’t feel like January.

However, it’s the perfect time to say thank you to everyone who came by to watch the show this year. It’s always fun to see five or six cars out in front of the house and the smiling faces of those young an old.

Hopefully our schedules align that we can do a smaller America 250 show in late June and early July. And we’re already looking at some exciting enhancements for next year of course that all depends on what the budget will allow.

God bless and hope everyone has a great 2026!
