Greetings Zegalia Memorial Golfers and Guests!!

Only a few days away….looking forward to seeing everyone!!!!
Updating everyone on the weekend plans and activities.

1. Friday Night Social: We will be hosting the Friday social at the Thin Line Tavern – downtown Mansfield – in their private event space - 6:00 to 9:00 upstairs, rest of the bar all night! We will have Miller Lite upstairs on tap – free for outing participants and will have happy hour prices all night until midnight at the bar! Shuttle service to be provided from hotels to Thin Line: 5:30 PM to
midnight!

2. Saturday Golf and Luncheon: Corey Creek Golf Club. Shotgun start – 09:00, breakfast sandwiches, coffee, etc. Beverage stations throughout day, games, raffles and more! Luncheon to follow directly after at Corey Creek – announcements, awards, and fun! There will also be a shuttle service running from the golf course to the local hotels! Please be at the course no later than 08:00 AM!!!

3. Saturday Evening: Tailgate Party!! 6:30 Start In the Microtel parking lot. Large party tent (in case of weather), beverages, entertainment, food trucks, games, etc.

FRIDAY – 5:30 pm to midnight
- Shuttle between hotels and Thin Line Tavern
SATURDAY – 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Shuttle between hotels and golf course only

"It is a true honor to have a scholarship named after my father as it will allow his legacy to continue within the Mansfield football community," - Rocco Zegalia

The Steve Zegalia Memorial Scholarship has been established through the Mansfield University Mountaineer Foundation to support Mansfield student-athletes.

Coach "Z" was a significant figure in the Mansfield football program for more than a generation, taking over the offensive line coaching responsibilities in 1986. His intense loyalty, dedication, and commitment also became the hallmark of every player he coached. Zegalia passed away unexpectedly in 2003.

Just a week out from registration for this year’s Steve Zegalia Memorial Outing!!

April 5th @10:00AM

As a reminder, this year’s event will take place on Saturday, July 12th. As in past years, we plan
to make this year’s event even more special!

- Friday evening social at the Thin Live Tavern in Mansfield. Drinks and snacks!!
- Saturday breakfast at Corey Creek Golf Club.
- Saturday golf outing at Corey Creek Golf Club – details to follow.
- Saturday post golf luncheon and awards ceremony.
- Post golf raffle – bigger and better than last year’s amazing raffle!!
- Saturday evening tailgate party – details to follow.

As you are probably aware, several Mounties have made substantial private donations to the
University this past year…it is in this same spirit that the Zegalia Memorial Outing has strived to
obtain over the years.

Our Saturday outing has grown into a weekend event that has surpassed everyone’s
expectations!

Please help us keep this important and giving event growing and thriving. Without donations,
we cannot continue to make this the premier MU event that it has become.
