❤️🍿🏀 The Popcorn Festival 3-on-3 basketball tournament was a great event on Saturday in the park. 16 teams participated in two divisions, 5th-8th grade and 9th grade- Adult.

🥇The Youth division champions of the 3 on 3 were Nicky Frank, Noah Kohtz, Reid Sidders and Carson Campbell.

🥇 For the HS and Adult Division, the champions were Joe Proehl, Jase Canada, Grady Rutledge, and Eamon Lynch. This group of freshmen and sophomores were the youngest team to win the tournament in the history of the 3-on-3, which has now taken place on Labor Day Weekend in Manito for more than 40 years! Thank you to Proehl Farms for sponsoring the tournament year after year!

We also held a Hot Shot competition for the kids that was sponsored by Country General.

🏆 Hot Shot winners were: 1st place - Wesley Walker, 2nd place - Reid Sidders.

The Popcorn Festival Committee Chairs would like to thank each and every one of you for making this weekend such a success!! We couldn't have done it without the army of volunteers working countless hours behind the scenes to make this happen. This year was definitely a year to remember being so hot, but we pushed through and did it!! So thank you again to this beautiful community for coming out and supporting small businesses during the festival!! Manito truly is a wonderful place to live!! See you next year!!
