That’s a wrap on the 2024 KLA Convention!

These past few days have been a blast: reconnecting with the industry and its people; learning the latest industry developments; and as always for us, having fun!

Convention inspired cattlemen across the state to share their story and be energetic about the future of the industry and their operations.

From feedlot managers, to cow-calf ranchers, to credit union bankers, to ag equipment manufacturers, to us college kids just taking it all in, to everyone else there— we all have different ideas, operations, and perspectives. But what brings Kansas cattlemen together every year, without fail, is our respect for the land, love for people, confidence in the future, and our unapologetic passion for beef.

We will finish the semester strong and are looking forward to jumping back into beef advocacy and networking again soon!

We can’t complain when we end and evening with KLA and our members and friends with a sunset like this.

KLA hosted a social with our club and at the Stout Center where members met KLA staff and learned about the great things that KLA and NCBA do for and with cattlemen across the nation. KLA also provided us a great meal- a special thanks to Clay and Wyatt for grilling! 🔥🍔

It was so fun meeting new students and seeing some friendly faces at the KSU College of Agriculture Watermelon Feed! We introduced the club to freshmen and transfer students. While students signed up for club we made new connections and shared our passions for the industry. Our first meeting is September 17 at 6:00pm. We cannot wait to share this year with our fellow cattlemen, have fun, and influence the future of this great industry and agriculture all together.

Happy game week!!

This football season, CCC is working a parking lot on game days as a fundraiser for club activities! We need 5 members each home game. Shifts begin 2 hours before kickoff. We still need one more spot filled for this weekend’s game (9/1).

Workers not only make money for the club but are also paid $15/hr they work. Members are required at least one shift in order to be considered for the NCBA trip in February.

If any returning or new members are available or interested please let us know!

As always, eat beef and go ‘cats!
