πŸŽ“We are excited to award the 1st Annual Manhattan Beach 10k Ryan James Scholarship!

This award was presented in honor of Ryan James, who tragically passed away last October from Epilepsy at the age of 18. Ryan was passionate about running, despite the challenges he faced. He was a most deserving recipient of a 2025 Manhattan Beach 10k scholarship. He was and will always be an inspiration to our race committee and our runners. We know his legacy will endure.

The award was presented to Mira Costa High School Senior Logan K. who shares many of the same attributes as Ryan; academic excellence, a commitment to community service, a passion for running and a determination to overcome adversity. Congrats, Logan!

CIF State Championship! We had multiple distance athletes compete with the best in the entire state.

β€”Krish Desai finished 4th in the state across all divisions running 4:06.67 in the 1600m.

β€”Our 4x800m team consisting of Max Myronowicz, Collin Tarnay, Ryan Burger, and Krish Desai finished 3rd across all divisions in a time of 7:43.27. Congrats to all athletes on a great season!
