Manette Edible Gardens Tour de Coop The Manette Edible Garden Tour is a self guided community based tour. We will keep you updated on the garden sites and learning opportunities via this page.

Many gardeners can supply a significant amount of their own food during the plentiful summer harvest. But the key to substantial savings on your food bill is putting fresh, homegrown produce on your table every month of the year. And in the mild, forgiving climate of the maritime Pacific Northwest, it can be easier than you might think. In our gardens now we are still harvesting cabbages, brussels

sprouts, rutabagas, arugula, lettuce, mustard greens, leeks, beets, carrots, celery and a multitude of cooking greens. The Manette Neighborhood Coalition hosted the first annual Manette Edible Garden tour in summer 2012. We encourage our neighbors to visit the edible gardens on future tours to learn about reducing their grocery bills, or just to meet their neighbors.
