Our dear friends at Bannerman Auctions are auctioning this rare 37 star American Flag grouping for us in their "To Arms" Civil War Auction, which starts tomorrow, 21 April 2026. This stunning set bears unmatched provenance and not only includes the flag but also a number of photographs. At least one of the photos dates to the Civil War and depicts members of the family in which we obtained the flag from in their Civil War uniforms.

Old Patriot Militaria, the hosts of the Greater New Orleans Militaria Show, will be setup this weekend at the Middle Tennessee Civil War Show and Militaria Sale in Franklin, Tennessee. This show is hosted by MK Shows and is a HUGE 700 table event. While there is a considerable amount of US Civil War related militaria, at least half of the show is twentieth century military antiques from the US, Germany, Japan and Other Nations. We are setting up today, will be at the show all weekend and will post more photos ASAP. Come see us!

Its the finest of all Thanksgiving traditions! Our yearly pilgrimage to the Tennessee Military Collectors Association fall Militaria Show! Come see us for an outstanding selection of our best inventory and to reserve your tables for the Greater New Orleans Militaria Show, which will be October 3rd and 4th of 2026. You will find us this Friday and Saturday at our usual end cap in the back left corner of the main hall. We are bringing an assortment of items like never before to include WW1 & WW2 German Uniforms, Badges, Helmets and Insignia as well as Painted WWI US Helmets, Outstanding US Edged Weapons, Exceptional M1 Helmets (Including one named to a white officer in the segregated 92nd Division), Named Medal Groups and MUCH More! Of all the outstanding items we are bringing, my favorite may be the elaborately painted WWI Third “Marne” Division US M1917 Helmet that you see pictured here! We are also sticking around Franklin and will be setting up at the Middle Tennessee Civil War Show the following weekend! So, come see us!

Old Patriot Militaria, hosts of The Greater New Orleans Militaria Show, had a great time this weekend visiting our good friends at the Alabama Military Collectors Association show. This show truly is a “hidden gem” of a show and we highly recommend it for collectors and dealers alike!

Over $2,000 raised and a huge selection of pet supplies donated to the St. Tammany Parish Department of Animal Services! A very sincere THANK YOU to our dealers and to our community for coming out and helping us support not only Animal Services but also Future Farmers of America and the American Legion! Next year, The Greater New Orleans Militaria Show will be October 3rd and 4th and plans are already in the works to bring our 6th annual show to a whole new level! The show has come a long way in five years but we are never going to stop working as hard as humanly possible to make it a nationally and internationally recognized event! So, get ready, you ain’t seen nothing yet!

Please join us in giving a heartfelt “thank you” to Mr. Dan and Trish Clifton of The Greater New Orleans Militaria Show — they raised over $2,000 for our homeless pets through silent auctions and ticket discounts for those who brought animal supplies for our shelter. These funds will be used for supplies and enrichment equipment. Dan and Trish are wonderful advocates for animals in our community, having hosted and raised money for the shelter for the past three years. We thank them on behalf of all animals - past, present and future of STPAS!
