A familiar face is back at Festival House.

We are thrilled to welcome Jonathan Kim, a former MMF Young Artist himself, as the Festival's new Young Artists Program Coordinator and Teaching Assistant.

Jon knows this program inside and out — he lived it. From early-morning rehearsals to that first step onto the Arkell Pavilion stage, he knows what makes this place special — and is excited to share it and support this Young Artists cohort.

Our Executive Director, David Whitehill, has been busy soaking in incredible music this month, from a hometown holiday concert at to music-filled nights in New York City. 🌃

Photos 1-2: kicked off the holiday season with a crystalline, stop-you-in-your-tracks performance at the Southern Vermont Arts Center on December 6.

Photo 3: At Merkin Concert Hall on December 7, .niederhoffer and delivered a smartly curated program which blended classic music and jazz, featuring Shostakovich’s Jazz Suite No. 1, Kapustin’s Piano Concerto No. 2, and Ellington’s Nutcracker Suite.

Photo 4: At Birdland Jazz Club , Hilary Gardner & The Lonesome Pines lit up the late-night stage with their American-West magic late last Sunday night.
