📚Have you ever wanted to meet your favorite local author? Need a gift for the biggest Manchester fan you know? Want to learn more about the research, writing and publishing processes?

📍Join us at the Millyard Museum on Saturday, October 24 at 10am and hear from nine Manchester authors who have published books about the Queen City! The authors will have a panel discussion, followed by a meet and greet opportunity, and a chance to buy their book and get their autograph!

This event is free with museum admission. MHA members are always free (and get a 10% discount in our giftshop!)

Join us on October 24 at 10:00 a.m. and come hear from nine authors who have published books about various aspects of the Queen City’s history! Each author will share about his or her works and what inspired them, then have a panel discussion with each other that includes reasons for writing about Manchester history.

The authors featured in the panel will be: Ed Brouder, John Clayton, Leah Dearborn, Kelly Kilcrease, Yvette Lazdowski, Robert Perreault, Gary Samson, Dennis Sasseville, and Sam Theodosopoulos.

Join us on October 3 at 1:00 pm for a special presentation about John Stark! Jeff Myrdek, our board president, will be giving a talk entitled "New Hampshire’s First Hero and the Man Who Would Set the State’s Image: John Stark.”

This presentation is part of our "Whose Revolution is it Anyways?" program which is happening all day on Saturday, October 3! This event is free with museum admission.

Artist talk with Peter Noonan!

In conjunction with our Reflections Manchester 180 exhibition and the Manchester Citywide Arts Festival we are hosting an artists talk with Peter Noonan. Peter is an award-winning illustrator, cartoonist and fine artist. His illustration and design branding has appeared in numerous publications throughout the country. His Fine Art is featured in private and public collections nationwide, including the New Hampshire Statehouse Portraits Collection.
A NH native, he studied at Colby Sawyer College, New London NH and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts/ Tufts University, Boston and Paris. He lives in Manchester with his family.

Gearing up for a triple header art night in Manchester. September 12th 5-7pm

Join us at 410 Chestnut Street for the opening of Full Circle New Beginnings. We will do an anniversary toast at 5:45.

At 6 we will be announcing awards at 66 Hanover Street Suite 201 for our Reflections Manchester 180 show. We will be awarding first, second and third prizes as well as Honorable Mention AND with special thanks to our Juror's .samson1 and we will also give out a Purchase Award selected byJeff Barraclough from the Manchester Historic Association and will be donated to !

Additionally at .saw.art_ ‘Codex Insolitus’ featuring Karl Fleck and Todd Pattison will be opening 5-7pm

We are so excited to announce our featured artists for Reflections a celebration of 180 years of Manchester exhibition!
This exhibit will be featured in our studio gallery at 66 Hanover Street Suite 201. We were honored to have two guest jurors .samson1 and from Stay Work Play. These jurors had the daunting task to narrow down the 85 submissions into a show all about Manchester and selected first, second, and third place and honorable mention pieces.

Opening Reception is September 12th 5-7 Awards will be announced at 6! Please come and support all of these awesome artists. The work is truly incredible!

Deadline Extended!

We thought you could use a bit more time to show us your Reflections!

This is a great opportunity to get your work in front of two prominent Artists and champions of the arts not only in Manchester but in NH as well! Gary Sampson and Corinne Breton are joining us to jury this show and will be selecting first, second and third prizes!

Reflections will be on view in our studio gallery simultaneously with our Full Circle Anniversary show in the new gallery. It's going to be a busy and fun night for the arts in Manchester.

The new Deadline is August 28th, Notifications will go out on the 30th and Drop off dates at 66 Hanover Street Suite 201 will be on the 2nd-4th 4-6pm. We hope you will join us!

Mosaic Art Collective is seeking submissions that explore Manchester's history, identity, and evolution over the past 180 years, including the city as it exists today.
Works that reference the city's industrial past, its people, its neighborhoods, or its present moment and ongoing transformation are welcome for this juried open call. Work can be documentary or interpretive, as long as it speaks to the theme of reflection on Manchester's history and present.
All media are welcome, excluding reproductions and AI generated work.
