📣 OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!
After thoughtful consideration, the Board of Directors of the Puerto Rican Alliance of Northern Virginia, Inc. (PRANOVA) has made the difficult decision not to host the Puerto Rican Festival of Manassas in June 2026.
Over the past three years, we proudly hosted the festival on
📅 June 17, 2023
📅 June 15, 2024
📅 June 14, 2025
During that time, we welcomed more than 18,000 attendees from 30 states, Puerto Rico, and 6 countries, growing into the largest Hispanic festival in the region. This incredible growth would not have been possible without the support of our community, vendors, sponsors, volunteers, and partners.
This decision was not made lightly. Rising operational costs, increased infrastructure and safety requirements, and limited sponsorship support made it financially unsustainable to move forward in 2026. Rather than overextend our resources, PRANOVA will use 2026 as a year to plan, rebuild, and strengthen our foundation.
🎯 This is a pause — not a cancellation.
We will continue hosting smaller community and cultural events throughout 2026, and your support of these events will help us return with a bigger and stronger Puerto Rican Festival of Manassas in 2027.
Thank you for standing with us, supporting our mission, and celebrating Puerto Rican culture with us. 🇵🇷
More details on upcoming community events coming soon.
